As Easter approaches, I'm thrilled to share a series of Easter-themed cookie decorating videos with you.
Each of these videos showcases designs that will be featured in my upcoming Easter cookie decorating class later this month.
Whether you're joining the class or decorating at home, these videos are packed with tips and inspiration to help you create stunning Easter cookies. I hope you enjoy watching, learn something new, and feel inspired to share your own creations with others!
For this particular cookie design, here are the supplies you'll need:
- Bunny face cookie cutter
- Chefmaster liqua gels in white (yes, I do put a little white in my white icing), neon green, neon purple and bakers rose
- Royal icing - I make mine with Genies Dream meringue powder
Icing Consistencies & Colors
- Flood - white
- Detail - white, purple, green & pink
Now, let's dive into the steps:
- Outline the entire cookie with white detail icing.
- Flood the entire cookie with white flood icing.
- Allow the cookie to crust over (approximately 15-30 minutes in front of a small fan on low).
- Use green detail icing to create the flower stems.
- With purple detail icing, pipe the purple flowers using gentle pressure.
- Add pink flowers using pink detail icing, either by making tiny circles inside of each other or by piping a clump of dots.
That's it! Allow the cookie to dry for 24 hours, and it'll be ready to go. Wishing you the best of luck on your decorating journey, and I can't wait to see your beautiful creations!
