Colorful Creations: Decorating Easter Eggs and Bunnies

As Easter approaches, it's time to unleash our creativity and add a splash of color to the season! In this blog post, we're diving into the delightful world of Easter cookie decorating. Get ready to join me on a

whimsical journey as I adorn four eggs and four bunnies with a vibrant rainbow of colors.

From pastel hues to bold shades, we'll explore a kaleidoscope of colors to bring these sweet Easter treats to life. Whether you're a seasoned decorator or a novice enthusiast, there's something magical about transforming simple cookies into edible works of art.

So grab your icing bags, sprinkle on some imagination, and let's embark on this colorful adventure together. Get ready to be inspired and delighted as we create a parade of Easter cookies that are as beautiful as they are delicious! 🌈🐣🍪

For these cookie designs, here are the supplies you'll need:

Icing Consistencies & Colors

  1. Flood - white
  2. Detail - white, pink yellow, orange, green, black and teal

Now, let's dive into the steps:

  1. For each cookie shape, outline the cookie with white detail icing
  2. Flood the entire cookie with white flood icing
  3. Allow the cookie to crust over (approximately 15-30 minutes in front of a small fan on low).
  4. Using the detail icing in different colors, add all of the fun details. You can watch the videos for the steps!

That's it! Allow the cookie to dry for 24 hours, and it'll be ready to go. Wishing you the best of luck on your decorating journey, and I can't wait to see your beautiful creations!
